Y-WE Grow is our farming and food justice program at Marra Farm, a community garden in South Park, Seattle, near the Duwamish River. Each year, we offer Fall and Spring cohorts at Marra Farm. This program is free to attend for young women, trans, non-binary, and gender expansive youth ages 13-19, centering BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ youth. We also offer a summer internship and various community events.

Apply here for Y-WE Grow summer 2024!

Summer 2024: August 12-16

Monday-Friday, 9:30AM-12:30PM

Location: Marra Farm (9026 4th Ave S)

With our hands on the land at Marra Farm, we will connect with the Earth in reciprocal relationship, gain practical gardening skills, and grow fresh, culturally-relevant produce. We will also learn how to disrupt racism and injustice in the food system dominant in the U.S. through investing in food sovereignty locally and gaining skills for interdependence, such as plant medicine, community art, and cooking!

Spots will fill up fast, the latest date to apply is June 24, 2024. BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ youth will be centered, all are welcome to apply!
